A: The antique French marble kitchen at Marymont Plantation (show in photo).

Q: WHAT IS THE MOST GORGEOUS ANTIQUE YOU EVER SAW, IN A PRIVATE COLLECTION, OR EVEN A MUSEUM?

A: A pair of old antique doors from Paris — my husband bought them for me and I had them made into our dining room table.

Q: WHAT IS THE MOST INTERESTING STORY YOU KNOW ABOUT ANY OF THE ANTIQUES YOU HAVE EVER HAD?

A: Our grand piano that belonged to my husband's grandfather — he played it for the silent movies.

Q: WHAT ANTIQUE TREND DO YOU LOVE RIGHT NOW?

A: Architectural salvage.

Q: WHAT GENRE OF ANTIQUES DO YOU HAVE AS A COLLECTION? IS THERE A GENRE OF ANTIQUES OR COLLECTIBLES YOU WOULD LIKE TO COLLECT IN THE FUTURE?

A: French furniture.

Q: ARE ANTIQUES A GOOD INVESTMENT? WHY OR WHY NOT?

A: Yes — they're classic. They'll never go out of style.

Q: HAVE YOU EVER RECYCLED OR UPCYCLED AN ANTIQUE/VINTAGE ITEM?

A: Regularly!!!

Q: Can you tell us a bit about your GasLamp Too booth?

A: My booth is newer merchandise with some antique items.  The inventory is from my Green Hills store, Caldwell Collection, which I closed at the end of April.  When I first opened, I bought almost everything in the Tuscany region of Italy.  I love the design aesthetic of Italy, France and the U.K.
