Q: IF YOU WON THE LOTTERY, WHAT ANTIQUE OR COLLECTIBLE WOULD YOU BUY IMMEDIATELY?

A: Collectible cars from the 1950s (old muscle cars).

Q: WHAT IS THE MOST GORGEOUS ANTIQUE YOU EVER SAW, IN A PRIVATE COLLECTION, OR EVEN A MUSEUM?

A: It was a beautiful 1900s ornate bedroom suite that was European.

Q: WHAT IS THE MOST INTERESTING STORY YOU KNOW ABOUT ANY OF THE ANTIQUES YOU HAVE EVER HAD, OR EVEN A COMPELLING STORY YOU KNOW ABOUT AN ANTIQUE YOU DON’T OWN?

A: I loved my grandmother's kitchen sideboard and built-in glass display cabinets. She said, "If I have to be in the kitchen/dining room all day its going to be pretty!"

Q: WHAT ANTIQUE TREND DO YOU LOVE RIGHT NOW?

A: I love the old kitchen textiles, tools and glass, especially anything in red, or red-trimmed items.

Q: WHAT GENRE OF ANTIQUES DO YOU HAVE AS A COLLECTION?

A: I loved collecting the 1930s ceramic 4- to 5-inch tall Christmas choir boys in white and black choir robes. I have 15; they're hard to find. It's so fun to see them all lined up in a Christmas display.

Q: WHAT ANTIQUE ERA DO YOU NOT LIKE?

A: There is a little something special about them all.

Q: ARE ANTIQUES A GOOD INVESTMENT?

A: In this economy money is tight, but I believe people invest in what they love one way or another.

Q: HAVE YOU EVER RECYCLED OR UPCYCLED AN ANTIQUE/VINTAGE ITEM?

A: I use vintage photos, lace trims, pretty vintage embellishments and any interesting old paper for what I call "altered art"  in making my greeting cards.
