Booth # B222

Larry Felts
Q: IF MONEY WAS NO OBJECT, SAY YOU WON THE LOTTERY, WHAT ANTIQUE OR COLLECTIBLE WOULD YOU BUY IMMEDIATELY?
A: I'd go to the jungles of South America and to Africa. I'd go all over looking for more pieces. I wouldn't quit.
Q: WHAT IS THE MOST GORGEOUS ANTIQUE YOU EVER SAW, IN A PRIVATE COLLECTION, OR EVEN A MUSEUM?
A: That's hard to answer. I've sold art to so many people who have fabulous homes all over, so I've seen a lot. I'm really into arts and craft items, folk art. Everything I see is beautiful. Everything I see is a piece of art, everywhere you look, every tree, so how can I choose? Look at what I have to choose from: The whole world. But I like folk art, I like old Americana folk art. Right now I'm holding this stick I got in Meridian, Mississippi; it's a snake carved onto a walking stick. The snake comes all the way around and it's eating a lizard. It's one of the coolest things I have. I wouldn't take it near my booth.
Q: WHAT ANTIQUE TREND DO YOU LOVE RIGHT NOW?
A: I like it all. I sell it all. I buy things that I think other people will like as much as I like them.
Q: HAVE YOU EVER RECYCLED OR UPCYCLED AN ANTIQUE/VINTAGE ITEM?
A: Yes. A desk, a chest of drawers, bedside tables. I paint them. Paint something white and it'll sell.
